Our graduate student Edem Dugbenoo presented a talk on "Metallurgical considerations with respect to cracking of H13 mold inserts produced by laser powder bed fusion" at MIM2020 International Conference on Injection Molding of Metals, Ceramics, and Carbides held between 2-4 March, 2020 in Irvine, California.
Mahmoud Osman, Chin Chieh Cheng and Peter Drianov joined the group as graduate students in the winter session. We welcome the new joinees to the P2[AM]2 family.
Dr. Amy Nommeots-Nomm has left the group to take up Research Development Manager for the Henry Royce Institute at Imperial College London. We wish her the very best and all the success in her new endeavor.
Dr. Chao Xu has left the group to take up faculty position as Associate Professor at Jilin University, China. We wish him the very best in his new endeavor.
We were at REGAL 2019 in Quebec City and our team members won numerous prizes - Su Su was awarded the prestigious Rio Tinto Graduate Scholarshop, while Eileen Ross Espiritu, An Fu, Tumulu Satish Kumar, and Emma Sue Reichart won prizes at Poster Presentation event. We are extremely proud of their achievements and congratulate them.
P2[AM]2 had a great response at PMTi2019: Powder Metallurgy and Additive Manufacturing of Titanium Conference between 24th and 27th September 2019 at Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. Our team members also presented their talks, to great reception, at the Materials Science and Technology 2019 Conference at Portland, Oregon, USA between September 29th and October 3rd, 2019.

P2[AM]2 had a great response at the 30th Annual International Solid Freeform Fabrication Symposium at Austin, USA. We had fruitful discussions with multiple industrial and national laboratory principals regarding future collaborations.
P2[AM]2 had great response at the AMPM Conference 2019 at Phoenix, USA and at the 2nd NSERC Hi-AM Conference 2019 at Vancouver, CANADA.
Ilhan Mandsaurwala and Emma Sui Reichert joined the group as co-op students this Summer, and we extend our warmest welcome to both of them to the P2[AM]2 family. We hope it will be an engaging, fruitful, and fun experience for them.
